Ruslan attended master courses of Ivry Gitlis, Shmuel Ashkenazi, Viktor Tretyakov, Viktor Danchenko, Pavel Vernikov, Boris Kushnir, Chaim Taub, Régis Pasquier as well as the State Quartet of Borodin, Kopelman Quartet and Quartetto di Cremona, playing as a part of the Tchaikovsky Youth Quartet.

As a student of Irina Bochkova and Graf Mourja, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow, Russia, also studied for many years with Vladimir Reider, Israel. Then graduated from the University of Music HEMU Valais-Wallis in Switzerland as a student of Janine Jansen.

Currently studying at the Kronberg Academy in Germany in the class of Janine Jansen under patronage of Carola und Gerd Kaiser Foundation.
